Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the 6th book in this series and it gives a back story and bonding time with Dumbledore who is the headmaster of Hogwarts. While reading this book, you will learn a lot more about Voldemort as he starts to get stronger and becomes a threat to Hogwarts. There are lessons in this book about friendship and trust which I like about it and Harry Potter is still dealing with losses emotionally in this book. There is lots of action and it is very interesting. I like Harry Potter books because there is so much content that can be read so fast.Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the 6th book in this series and it gives a back story and bonding time with Dumbledore who is the headmaster of Hogwarts. The Order of the Phoenix is the 5th book in this series and it provides action and emotions. In this book you can see Harry Potter showing more anger and emotions due to loss and the return of Voldemort. The magical world thinks he is a liar because he used magic for self defense but is misunderstood and judged wrongly. This is also another factor causing his stress and anger. I really like this book because it shows the character of Harry and his friends and we learn more about them. There are so many details in the plot and this will leave you guessing! The Order of the Phoenix is the 5th book in this series and it provides action and emotions. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K Rowling is the fourth book in the Harry Potter series. I recommend Harry Potter to young teens and even adults. If you continue to read, you will definitely be hooked and want to keep reading. In this book, Harry Potter’s name is drawn to compete in a dangerous tournament between 3 schools of magic with only 1 person from each school. Harry isn’t even eligible to compete but he has to anyway. We learn more about Voldemort in this book and the main characters which is great and this book is longer so you will want to keep reading.Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K Rowling is the fourth book in the Harry Potter series. After reading the second book of this series, the third book will have you hooked because it is slowly building the plot with adventures and villains. Harry Potter finds out that there is a murderer that is after him and he has to be wary of everywhere he goes. In this book, we learn a lot about Harry Potter and his personality where I do not see as much in the other books so I really like this book. As I continued to read the Harry Potter books I realized that I had to complete the whole series due to how fantastic these books were. Harry Potter starts the story by spending a not-so-good summer with the Dursleys. We are introduced to characters like Dobby the Elf and we get to see the trio of Hermione, Harry, and Ron find out the mystery behind the attacks on Hogwarts. This book leads up to the main villain in the story and the adventures of the trio. When you keep reading, you will find out more secrets and unexpected events in the story which I love.As I continued to read the Harry Potter books I realized that I had to complete the whole series due to how fantastic these books were. Percy is just a 12 year old boy so younger audiences can find themselves placing them in his shoes. When I was younger reading this book I was hooked and surprised about the powers of the Greek Gods. Erin Hunter makes a fictional story about cats and their clans seem very interesting. In middle school, I would read these books and be very engaged and surprised about how good these cat books are. These cats are separated by four clans which are Thunderclan, Windclan, Riverclan, and Shadowclan. The main character, Rusty, leaves his owner to start his journey in Thunderclan. While reading this book you will be surprised that these cats have their own society and social structure. Obviously, cats can’t talk so it is very cool to see forms of government in an animal kingdom. Things Fall Apart is a novel that depicts historical events of the past and encounters with different races and religions. Achebe does a perfect job of using a respected and powerful warrior named Okonkwo in the Umuofia clan to show accurate historical events like European colonialism and spread of religion. This book is fantastic and makes you understand things about the past like how Unuofia’s knowledge was less superior and showed the way they thought from their point of view. Their gods and cultural events would be unique and new to me as I read and learned more about Igbo culture.
