It is now recognized how meditation can help the body, mind and spirit. Incorporating meditation into one’s life has many positive effects. Experience for yourself how meditation can change your life. Join Dr. Andrew Vidich, educator, author and long-time meditator who has been inspiring audiences with his engaging workshops. Come learn a simple meditation technique that can be used daily for greater peace, energy, and well-being.

Andrew Vidich, PhD, is an, educator, international speaker, and author/editor of more than five books. His books include Love is a Secret (1990), critically acclaimed by the Institute of Noetic Sciences, which stated that "it provided a great service to readers interested in the deeper dimensions of mystical love." He was a contributing author to The Heart of the Healer, an investigation into the nature of healing (1987), which sold more than twenty thousand copies, Light Upon Light : 5 Master Pathways to Awaken the Mindful Self. His newest book, is co-authored with Art Stein and is entitled, Let There Be Light: Experiencing Inner Light Across the World’s Sacred Traditions.

Dr. Vidich has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Religion at Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY and at Iona College in New Rochelle where he taught courses in the nature and experience of religion, meditation, death and dying and Islamic studies. Dr. Vidich lectures and presents experiential workshops at conferences, radio and TV shows, colleges and book stores throughout the world on a variety of topics. He is the co-founder of The Interfaith Council of New York and member of World Parliament of Religions Task Force on War, Violence and Hate Speech. He has been studying meditation for 48 years under the guidance of three world renowned meditation teachers.

How do I join a library Zoom event?

You can join our online event by clicking the meeting link or going to and entering in the meeting ID and password that will be emailed to you after registering.

How do I change my display name?

Once you join the program, click "participants" and then click your own name for the option to change your display name. “Anonymous” is always an option.
