Description

Learn Computer Programming / Interactive Game Design!  For grades *3rd through 5th

* There is a older ages session starting on 1st and 3rd Thursday evenings starting on 2/18/21.

Join us for a bi-weekly (2 times/month) 60 minute session of programming activity in the Scratch programming language.

We will be using a combination of custom curriculum as well as curriculum offered by the Girls Who Code organization.  You must register with the girls who code website to fully take advantage of the curriculum. 

You can code by yourself or collaborate with a friend or two.   Space is limited.  This is a virtual online event hosted on Zoom by the Bay Point Library and Girls Who Code Instructor Miss Heather.

*This program is open to all genders.

You are encouraged to create your own scratch account on www.scratch.mit.edu and girls who code account on hq.girlswhocode.com (you can use your google account for both) 

You will receive the zoom link for the class just before the event.  If you have any questions please feel free to email.

*Zoom Link will also be posted here on this event listing the day of the event.
