Have you ever wanted to create a video or animation of something and you just didn't know where to start?
Join us for a free multi-day summer workshop hosted by the Bay Point Library and presented by high school student Calvin Chen. This workshop is recommended for students in grades 5th through 10th grades. laptops or desktop computer required and some type of video camera / smart-phone with video ability recommended.
This multi-day workshop will introduce you to the concepts of video pre-production, production and post-production. You will learn how to put your ideas to the page, revise your script and shooting plans, the basics of videography, and how to put it all together by editing and adding a soundtrack.
As a separate event to be scheduled, we will also host a screening of all the completed projects at the end of the summer.
The 4 day workshop will be scheduled as follows:
1. Pre-Production / Production -- July 7th and July 8th
2. Post-Production -- July 14th and July 15th
