Learn Computer Programming / Interactive Game Design! For grades *6th through 11th
* we have a younger group programming in scratch on 2nd and 4th Saturdays.
Join us for a bi-weekly (2 times/month) 90 minute sessions of programming activity in Python and other advanced programming languages. You are not required to attend each session, these are workshops.
We will be using a combination of custom curriculum as well as curriculum offered by the Girls Who Code organization. You must register with the girls who code website to fully take advantage of the curriculum.
*This program is open to all genders.
You can code by yourself or collaborate with a friend or two. Space is limited. This is a virtual online event hosted on Zoom by the Bay Point Library and Girls Who Code Instructor Miss Heather. Space is limited.
You are encouraged to create a girls who code account on hq.girlswhocode.com (you can use your google account for both) to take advantage of their curriculum independently. We will be using the repl.it programming editor.
