Yukio Shimomura will be sharing his family’s story of how Executive Order 9066 affected them during WWII. In his address, Shimomura will explain what he, his parents, and his older brothers experienced, as well as the lifestyle and dynamics in the Topaz camp and the significant ironies. There are 110,000 stories of Japanese internment and this is a snapshot of one family’s experience.
