Are you passionate about dogs and seeking meaningful volunteer opportunities? Join us and the Alliance of Therapy Dogs to explore their Junior Handlers program, designed to instill a love for animals and community service in young volunteers.

The Alliance of Therapy Dogs is a renowned international registry that certifies therapy dog teams. They offer comprehensive testing, certification, registration, support, and insurance for members involved in animal-assisted activities. Their mission is to build a network of compassionate individuals and their extraordinary dogs, dedicated to spreading joy and smiles to people of all ages.

At this Teen Thursday you’ll meet ATD teams, including enthusiastic Junior Handlers. This unique opportunity is perfect for teens aged 12 to 17 who want to engage in a fulfilling volunteer program. Advance registration is required. This event is proudly sponsored by the Clayton Community Library Foundation. For special accommodations, please contact the library at least 72 hours in advance.
