Celebrate Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month with Cascada de Flores!
Cascada de Flores tells stories using the music and dance that they most love: that of Mexico and Latin America. The Treasure of Aquíles, is about creativity. Aquíles, a boy whose pueblo is barren of dance, music, and song, sets out on an adventure with his morral (a bag filled with his favorite things). Along the way, he learns to sing from a bee, rhythm from a horse, and to dance from a flea. Aquíles’ morral becomes his treasure: filled with story, song, games and dances which he shares with his pueblo.
All ages and abilities are welcome. For special accommodations, please contact the Library with 72 hours notice.
