Each Wednesday we will offer arts and crafts, or a spectacular performance, or a special guest!
On the fifth Wednesday of a month there will be a special take home activity packet. Beginning at 2:00 pm, on 4/30/2025, grab a Take-and-Make Worry Doll craft kit to Celebrate Children's Day, Book Day (Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros). One kit per patron, while supplies last.
From Guatemala, Worry Dolls were created to help with worrying. According to Mayan legends, when someone can't sleep because of their worries, they will tell these worries to as many dolls as needed. The Worry Doll is then placed under the pillow. The dolls will do the worrying, allowing the person to go to sleep.
