Teen Tech Tutors will help adults with their Computer/Device Questions during 30-min sessions to help you get started, so you can take those skills and continue to explore and learn on your own! Registrants can bring their own portable devices and/or work on a library computer. Wifi is available in the library. Teen Tech Tutors can help you with: -Basic email questions -Basic computer questions -How to access Library-provided e-resources (e.g. Libby and LinkedIn Learning) -Basic formatting and general use of MS Word/Google Docs and Basic functions for MS Excel/Google Sheets Teen Tech Tutors CANNOT help you with: -Any sort of device repair -Installing hardware, software or program updates on your device -Provide word processing services (typing on your behalf, etc.) -Provide private lessons, or accept payment or remuneration of any kind -Recommend products for you to buy (e.g., computers) -Do your online shopping, or place ads for you (e.g., eBay, Craig’s List, Amazon consignment sales, want ads, etc.) Please make an appointment through library website or by phone (510-245-2420). |
