This Black Children's Book Week at Concord Library we are honored to partner with Kei-Che Randle, a Bay Area Teacher for the Deaf and Founder/CEO of Songs to Enhance People Signing (STEPS) by Kei-Che, who will American Sign Language for creative expressions of the Stories and Songs program series, with a spoken English interpretation by Audra Tipton-Moore. Randle, a Deaf Community/Family Advocate, established STEPS in 2015, to bridge the gap between Deaf and Hearing communities. She is also a consultant for Deaf Education and conducts workshops in ASL. Randle, who is Deaf, will share her favorite books in ASL, an artistic performance with music, and a craft activity.
