Description

Celebrate Children's Day, Book Day (Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros) at Prewett Library!

Grab a Take-and-Make Worry Doll craft kit:

From Guatemala, Worry Dolls were created to help with worrying. According to Mayan legends, when someone can't sleep because of their worries, they will tell these worries to as many dolls as needed. The Worry Doll is then placed under the pillow. The dolls will do the worrying, allowing the person to go to sleep.

One kit per patron, while supplies last.
