Walnut Creek Library Teen Writing Contest Submission

The prompts:

1. You found an abandoned [_____] only to discover it’s not abandoned at all
   
2. Write a story where the readers slowly realize that the narrator is unreliable.
   
3. Orbs. Write a story about orbs.

Rules:

1. Word limit: no more than 3000-5000 words
2. One entry/person
3. Must be between ages 12-18
4. All entries submitted digitally (preferably pdf)
5. Leave your name off of the direct entry, just add it to the form
6. No generative AI
7. Limited vulgar language; no hate speech, excessive gore, or excessive violence
8. Put trigger warnings/content warnings if needed in the document and in the form
