Events › Game Night at Martinez Library with Ember Rest

Join us for an evening of games with Ember Rest! Ryan Timpte from The Kids Table will lead 15-minute Dungeons & Dragons sessions featuring high fantasy, family-friendly adventuring. You can also choose another game provided by Ember Rest to play with a smaller group. Most games are best suited for ages 9 and up, but younger children are welcome if a caregiver is present.

Dungeons & Dragons in 15 Minutes is a storytelling game that promotes empathy, teamwork and communication, linguistic and math skills, and problem-solving. This fifteen-minute version serves as an introduction to the game, showing parents, kids, and other new players how the game works and how they can do it, too. Ember Rest is a haven for storytellers, strategists, and adventurers alike located in downtown Martinez.
