The Walnut Creek Library is pleased to host a Pop-up Tech Hub, where interns collaborate with experienced staff from Tech Exchange to offer a variety of valuable services to the community. This program is designed to support anyone who needs help with technology—whether it’s solving problems, learning new skills, or accessing affordable internet.
Services include:
- Personalized one-on-one tech support tailored to individual needs
- Instruction in essential digital skills to build confidence using computers, smartphones, and other devices
- Assistance signing up for affordable internet programs to keep the community connected
- Culturally sensitive and bilingual support available in both English and Spanish
Important Information
- The Tech Hub operates on a drop-in basis, and no appointment is needed. Visitors are welcome anytime during scheduled hours.
- Assistance is provided by the Tech Exchange team on a first come, first served basis. If there is a wait, sessions are typically limited to 20 to 30 minutes to ensure everyone has the opportunity to receive help.
- To keep the schedule running smoothly and provide quality assistance for all, the last session will begin promptly at 4:40 p.m. This ensures enough time for thorough support while respecting the library’s closing time.
