Healthy Tuesdays at the Library -- Wellness Yoga

Recharge Your Body & Mind – One Breath at a Time

Step away from your desk and onto the mat! The library offers a free wellness session for adults on Tuesdays at lunchtime — featuring Yoga and Tai Chi on alternating weeks. All levels welcome – no registration required.

Wellness Yoga. This class is designed for adults of all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. We'll explore foundational yoga poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices to help you build strength, increase flexibility, and reduce stress. Each session aims to leave you feeling refreshed, centered, and more connected to your body. Come as you are and discover the transformative power of yoga in a supportive and welcoming environment. Bring your yoga mat; a towel, blanket, or cushion is optional for added comfort.

No Registration. Classes are filled first-come first serve. The doors close when the room reaches capacity.

What to bring: Be sure to wear comfy clothes and bring a yoga mat along with a water bottle. You may also bring extra towels or blocks for comfort.

Meet our instructor: Ameya Dighe, a newly certified instructor through Yoga Bharati, passionate about making wellness accessible to all. Ameya creates a warm, inclusive environment where participants feel supported and empowered. Her classes emphasize mindful movement and breath awareness—powerful practices that build strength, improve flexibility, ease stress, and foster inner calm. Join Ameya to experience the transformative benefits of yoga and leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and uplifted.

1st Tuesday of the month: Wellness Yoga

2nd Tuesday of the month: Tai Chi

3rd Tuesday of the month: Chair Yoga

4th Tuesday of the month: Tai Chi

5th Tuesday of the month: To be announced, when applicable.
