Healthy Tuesdays at the Library -- Chair Yoga

Recharge Your Body & Mind – One Breath at a Time

Step away from your desk and onto the mat! The library offers a free wellness session for adults on Tuesdays at lunchtime — featuring Yoga and Tai Chi on alternating weeks. All levels welcome – no registration required.

Chair Yoga. Perfect for those who prefer or require seated support, our Chair Yoga class offers all the benefits of traditional yoga in a gentle and accessible format. We'll use the chair for stability and assistance while exploring stretches, movements, and breathing exercises that improve flexibility, circulation, and balance. This class is ideal for seniors, individuals with limited mobility, or anyone looking for a softer approach to their yoga practice. Join us to experience the joy of movement and relaxation!


No Registration. Classes are filled first-come first serve. The doors close when the room reaches capacity.

What to bring: Be sure to wear comfy clothes and bring a water bottle. You may bring a yoga mat (optional) for final relaxation if you wish.

Ameya Dighe, a newly certified instructor through Yoga Bharati, passionate about making wellness accessible to all. Ameya creates a warm, inclusive environment where participants feel supported and empowered. Her classes emphasize mindful movement and breath awareness—powerful practices that build strength, improve flexibility, ease stress, and foster inner calm. Join Ameya to experience the transformative benefits of yoga and leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and uplifted.

Healthy Tuesdays are scheduled every week:

1st Tuesday of the month: Wellness Yoga. 

2nd Tuesday of the month: Tai Chi.

3rd Tuesday of the month:  Chair Yoga 

4th Tuesday of the month:  Tai Chi

5th Tuesday of the month:  When there is a 5th Tuesday of the month, check our website to see what's happening.
