Recharge Your Body & Mind – One Breath at a Time
Step away from your desk and onto the mat! The library offers a free wellness session for adults on Tuesdays at lunchtime — featuring Yoga and Tai Chi on alternating weeks. All levels welcome – no registration required.
Tai Chi. In these classes, participants will learn the foundations of Tai Chi movement, the gentle and energizing Eight Brocades Qi Gong, the graceful Yang-style 24 Form, the powerful Chen-style 18 and 74 Forms, and the dynamic Tai Chi Kung Fu Fan routine. Tai Chi is a low-impact aerobic exercise known for improving balance, flexibility, and overall well-being. Whether you’re new to Tai Chi or looking to deepen your practice, this is a wonderful opportunity to improve your health in a calm, welcoming environment.
No Registration. Classes are filled first-come first serve. The doors close when the room reaches capacity.
What to bring: Be sure to wear comfy clothes and bring a water bottle.

Vincent Liu, a dedicated Tai Chi practitioner who previously taught at the library. With over 23 years of experience studying authentic Tai Chi under Chinese masters, Vincent brings both depth and clarity to his teaching. His classes offer a calm, supportive space where participants of all ages—especially older adults—can explore mindful movement to improve balance, flexibility, and inner well-being. Join Vincent to experience the gentle strength and lasting benefits of Tai Chi.
Healthy Tuesdays are scheduled weekly:
1st Tuesday of the month: Wellness Yoga.
2nd Tuesday of the month: Tai Chi.
3rd Tuesday of the month: Chair Yoga.
4th Tuesday of the month: Tai Chi
