Events › "Left Behind" an In-Person Film Screening

Contra Costa County Library invites you to a free viewing of, Left Behind (2025) a film by Emmy Award producer and director, Anna Toomey. 

Left Behind chronicles a group of determined mothers in New York City who fight to establish the city's first public school for dyslexic children, highlighting the systemic failure to support students and framing literacy as a civil rights issue. The film makers aim to spark outrage, inspire hope, and ignite a desire for action among viewers.
