Would your child like to read to a friendly therapy dog? In this Sneak Peek, Ginger the Goldendoodle therapy dog eagerly awaits any curious readers who want to come read a story of their liking. This event is happening two weeks before our Paws to Read Program kicks off officially in March. 

Children in grades K through 5 can read to dogs certified for sociability. Beginning readers can get low-stress practice, fluid readers can make a new furry friend. You are free to bring a book of your choosing, or you can pick any from the library collection. 

Please show up five minutes before your allotted time and check in with the program staff. Participants more than 5 minutes late will forfeit their spot.
