Do you have a broken item you want to give new life? Bring it to the Repair Fair! Our skilled volunteers will do their very best to fix items like bikes (traditional/non-electric only), textiles and clothing, small furniture, appliances, and lamps. If you can carry it in, we’ll take a look.

In partnership with recyclemore and Reuse Alliance, a team of volunteers and professional fixers will be on site to help repair your items — all for free!

This event will also feature a Clothing Swap. Bring clean clothing and accessories in good condition (please no socks or undergarments) and take home something new-to-you!

Please note: repairs are not guaranteed and depend on the condition of the item, the availability of volunteer fixers, and repair materials. We are unable to work on microwaves or repair cell phones, but we’re happy to refer you to local professionals.

Our textile repair team can assist with:

• Mending torn or ripped seams

• Patching holes

• Reattaching buttons

• Hemming pants or dresses (please pin to your desired length before arriving)

• Other types of visible mending

Feria de Reparación e intercambio de ropa en la biblioteca de Hercules!

¿Tienes algo que no funciona y te gustaría darle nueva vida? ¡Tráelo a la feria de reparación! Nuestros hábiles voluntarios harán lo mejor que puedan para reparar cosas como bicicletas (tradicionales que no sean eléctricas), telas y ropa, pequeños muebles, electrodomésticos, y lámparas. Si los puedes traer, los revisaremos. 

¡En asociación con RecycleMore y Reuse Alliance, un grupo de voluntarios y reparadores profesionales estarán disponibles para reparar tus cosas – todo GRATIS!

Este evento también tendrá intercambio de ropa. Trae ropa limpia y accesorios en buena condición (por favor no trigas calcetas/calcetines ni ropa interior) y llévate algo nuevo para ti.

Atención: Las reparaciones no están garantizadas y dependen de la condición del aparato, la disponibilidad del reparador voluntario, y de los materiales disponibles para reparar. No podemos reparar microondas o teléfonos celulares, pero con gusto te podemos recomendar con profesionales locales.

Nuestros reparadores de telas pueden ayudarte con:

· Reparar costuras rotas

· Remendar agujeros

· Poner botones

· Dobladillos de pantalones o vestidos (por favor ponles alfileres con el tamaño deseado para la reparación antes de venir)

· Otros tipos de remiendos visibles
