Add a CommentGeorge's mom just wants him to bark like a dog but ends up making all of these other animal sounds! Find out why in this hilarious and classic read!
So much fun to read all the different animal sounds. And children love to help make those sounds! They don't all understand the joke at the end, but that doesn't stop them from enjoying the book anyway!
This is one of my all-time favorite read-aloud books for storytime! Children will quickly catch on to the pattern and will be delighted to predict what happens next. The ending leaves room for excellent speculation.
This book is completely delightful and fun for adults, and it made my kids laugh a lot.
Bark, George is a clever and interactive read-aloud. The unexpected ending will make you giggle.
Why can't George bark? This is a fun picture book to read out loud.
This is a great book for teachers. I used it to teach my students inferencing. Its a funny and useful resource.
This book will have all ages laughing their heads off! Little George has gotten himself in a pickle that his mother can`t believe. It`s a great read-aloud that contains tons of potential for interaction with a group of kids from toddler through kindergarten age. The kids and adults
will be oinking, mooing and quacking along.
Fun book to share about a dog who can't bark, or can he!
My little one loves this book because of the fun animal noises, just like he loves Old McDonald Had a Farm. I still want to know how this little puppy can eat a (SPOILER)
WHOLE COW!
