Goodness, I haven't been more disappointed in an album in a long time. I was such a huge fan of "Wolfgang Amadeus", the debut record from Phoenix. It was fresh, interesting and engaging indie rock. Unfortunately, "Ti Amo" is a far cry from the strong roots the band put down in 2009. Given, that was almost 10 years ago. Musicians have a right to grow and change. I just wish they would have gravitated towards more classic indie rock sounds vs the 80s throwback synth that Ti Amo is saturated with...
