"That was his punishment for the problem he created," Vespera corrected, "which I was very generous to allow him a chance to redeem himself for."
"Sure," Keefe agreed, rolling his eyes. "Full body torture seems like a totally reasonable punishment for . . . What was the problem again? A locked gate?"" - Flashback
"Fitz stared at her for a long second, then at each of his friends, before finally resting on Sophie. "If I let him go," he whispered, "we're going to regret it."
"Maybe," she admitted. "But if you kill him, we'll regret it more. Even you."" - Flashback

Summary

Add a CommentFitz and Sophie are so adorable in this series the way she leans on him for support and the time when they were at the healing center and they got so much closer it's so cute!!
I like Keefe I mean he is hilarious but I think Fitz and Sophie have a stronger bond they are cognates and they can talk telepathically and he is the person who found her she loved his accent and teal eyes.
Anyway, I am so for fitzphie!!!!!!
first of all, i'm so sorry (not really) about all you Fitzphie shippers but Sokeefe will ALWAYS be my favorite and there is LITERALLY NO changing my mind. to be honest, i was not very happy with the Fitzphie moments. Keefe will ALWAYS be better than Fitz on SOOOOOOOOOO MANY levels. Although, i have to admit that the book was pretty good---not very good but good. SOKEEFE FOREVER!!!!!
This is book was great also because Silvenys back! I liked this book although bear the end it got REALLY cheesy 🙄🤔😪😵 any way I thought the beginning kinda dragged a bit, but I still think Shannon Messenger is a great author!
I agree with yellow_cat girl. Keefe loses and Fitz wins! Yeah! Although, who knew Fitz could be kinda gross. Thanks to Silveny, Silveny ruined Sophie's only chance... :C

I am a huge keeper fan, but this book (and legacy, the book after it) was terrible. There was nothing added to the main plot, the whole book was just a side plot, and (SPOILER) the only large threat in this book was eliminated at the end. The book just felt like Shannon Messenger's desperate attempt to keep pumping out a book per year. This series has a special place in my heart, and so much potential, but this book just wasn't good.
Wow, it was great! Who here cringed when the shadowflux was tearing into Sophie and Fitz? And who else sometimes just wants to give these people a big hug? Especially Keefe??
edited: And everyone noticed how sad he was when he told Sophie that Fitz told him everything, right? He was so, so sad and trying not to show it. SOPHIE JUST SEE THE TRUTH!!!

I haven't read this book yet and there are mixed reviews. I'm hoping for the best.
Ok so I liked Flashback a lot, but all the time Sophie spent in the healing center kinda seems pointless to me, but wtvr. Also I kinda hate Fitz right now because like he's really mushy and he seems too proud to continue his relationship with Sophie just because of the whole matchmaking deal. Buuut that said, now keefoster can like sooo get on with it because I've been waiting for that to happen for sooo long!! Also I totally agree with violet_wolf_644 about the series being like Harry Potter, and I kinda feel like Messenger's read HP and is kind of incorporating some of it's qualities into KOTLC without realizing it but wtvr still a good series and a good book
Great book, but It annoyed me how many fitzphie moments there were. #Sokeefe!
