If you enjoyed the novel American Gods this comic is a fairly accurate adaptation with no real noticeable changes. This is an adaptation so it does not read quick like a regular comic book. The art could be better as it make the entire comic look like a fever dream. But only certain parts of the book are actually fever dreams or weird visits from one of the many gods.

My Ainsel continues the American Gods graphic novel. The color and illustrations keep the vibe of isolation our main character feels, but there is hope in an isolated winter community that may have its own secrets. Wednesday's agenda doesn't get any more clear but Neil Gaiman's fanciful characters are out in full force. Several friends come back from vol. 1. If you enjoy Neil Gaiman's graphic novels, drop everything and pick this series up.

Bursting with color as well as deep corners of shadow (pun intended); still faithful, of course...
