Sweet and charming with delicious descriptions of France! I kept putting the book aside so I could look up details about Grace Kelly or Cannes, France. This book ended on a bittersweet note but also inspired me to find a new feminine perfume.

This made me want to drop everything and hop on a plane to the Côte d'Azur. A perfect end of summer, escapist read.

This is one of the BEST books I've read this year! I read it in two days. If you like reading about starcrossed lovers as I do, then you will love this novel. The writing is beautiful, and I loved being swept away to a summer in France. I loved Sophie and James, but I think Grace Kelly was the star of the show. I so enjoyed the descriptions of her clothes and her obvious affection toward her dog. Grace came across as being so sweet and charming. You just can't help falling in love with her on the page and admiring her weddings and wishing she would have a long and happy life.
