My girls loved this one better than #3! It is a great addition to the trilogy and a very sweet movie all around.

A sweet follow up to the franchise that hit all of the right notes. There's enough explanation for a first time viewer to watch this movie without seeing the other three first. I grew up with the original 'Toy Story', so it will always hold an extra place in my heart that doesn't fit the others. The film wisely ties up loose ends, brings in new characters, and as always, leaves room for more storytelling, magic, and mayhem.

I've never followed Toy Story so I came to this with an open mind, and found this film to be rather well done. The animation, actor voiceovers, and writing are all first rate. An enjoyable film all ages can enjoy.

Toy Story 4 is as fun as the others and as moving even if it isn't quite as original as the others.

I went to see this on July 4th and I really liked it. Not as good as the original but a unique storyline and I liked that they kept the original characters and added some new ones. LOVED Keanu Reeves as the Canadian daredevil! He was awesome and the movie was absolutely adorable and hilarious! I think my new motto will be " Yes you CANada!"

I watched this movie without kids, as a millennial struggling to move up in my career whilst trying to survive in my hometown of which is constantly getting more expensive every year to live in and with a state budget crisis; watching Toystory 4 with my husband brought us back to a simpler time of our lives. I don't want to spoil it for anyone; but, we both agreed that Toystory 3 could've just ended there; somehow Disney made ToyStory 4 a success. It is a solid movie. Nostalgia and character building are the key components to keeping a fan base. Sure there are toddlers watching this and having their minds blown seeing a talking spork and carnival plush toys flinging themselves in an animalistic yet humorous manner but the plot of the story is very deep and relatable to adults much more than children. It's definitely a family movie, the kids can enjoy the banter and talking toys, but the adults can appreciate the life choices one makes and how difficult they can be. Also, there's a character I found to be psychotic but turned out to be a victim that became a villain as a way to get through a trauma. Lastly, I found Woody to really be a lawful good character and that is rare to see much less in a children's movie.

The right kid is out there, but in Toy Story 4, some don't need a child! This is one so controversial, with people saying it's a shameless cash grab, and others saying it's a beutiful masterpeice that ties the series up nicely. There is obviously parts in this movie that make it unparalled to other animated features, with Woody leaving the other toys to start a new life helping other toys with long lost lover, Boe Peep. It didn't have a happily ever after ending, with all the toys leaving together as one big family. It instead pulls a heavy hitter that we all have to discover are own path, even if it means leaving the old behind. But these wonderful snippits cannot protect the movie from its obvious flaws. Like how Forky gets forgotten halfway through the movie even though he was meant to be the main star, or how Buxx acts like a complete idiot through the whole film, with him thinking his inner voice is his literal inner voice box! Where did the whole Buzz from the 2nd movie go? The one to lead his friends on a perilous journery to rescue Woody, and convince that life is only worth living when loved by a kid!? Now comes the final question. Is Toy Story 4 a cash grab, or a flawless masterpiece? Well, it's neither. It was definatly made just for money. The people who made the film put care into it, which shows greatly. But the movie ain't the best one in the whole tetrology. It definatly has its pitfalls, and it can be hard to see past them at times. So say what you want about Toy Story 4, but I stay by my thoughts, to infinity and beyond. 3.7/5 stars

Watchable but not phenomenal. Animation on the cat is overdone. No cat's fur moves so much. You kinda could see from the trailer who the villian is, but the why might surprize you. And how it resolves was a bit surprizing, too.

I watched it through, and only 1 in about 12 make it past 5 minutes.

Cute film, although I did not like the spooky dolls in the antique store. A tad "chucky" there...
Otherwise the story line was good. Happy ending, and I'm told this is the last Toy Story so glad for the lovey ending.

Didn't expect much from a third sequel, and TS4 started out in very familiar narrative territory. But it became ever-more Baroque as the story progressed until it felt like a completely unique film. Perfectly executed in every respect.
