Barton's illustrations will engage even the youngest reader in his retelling of the Three Bears.
A perfect first folk/fairytale for toddlers. The illustrations are bright and simple, and the text is rhythmic and easy to follow.
This is one of my favorite adaptations of the classic Three Bears story. I use the big book during Toddler Storytime and ask the kiddos to help me act out the story. It's a big hit.
This a colourful version of the beloved traditional tale told with simplicity and humour.
This book worked well with the Goldilocks and the Three Bears felt board kit. (Early Learning Kit.)
Barton's bright, very simple illustrations and bare bones text make this version a perfect choice to read to 2-4-yr olds. If you're looking for a similarly simple text but more sumptuous illustrations, Paul Galdone's "The Three Bears" is the one to get.
Good book to read before Casper Baby Pants--Goldilocks performance.
