Add a CommentA rather plainly written and flat book, best for reference; the section on the lanthanides was quite repetitive. The most surprising thing I learned was from the entry on carbon, where (p.35) it says that its crystals (diamonds) eventually fall apart, and that it seems to be spontaneous. Anyone going to file a false advertising suit against DeBeers?
