The tarot is bait. The memoir is unfunny and kind of boring to read. I found it hard to care about the author's problems especially after she starts beating her boyfriend because of jealousy. So much whining too. Writing style was also very bland. Got a third of the way in. Couldn't finish it.

Shelved with the tarot and astrology books, "The Devil" really belongs with the memoirs. Auerbach uses the tarot deck as a plot device (and a tool in her personal development) to explore her own coming of age.
