Professor Marc C. Conner may be the president of Skidmore College, but these 24 lessons are definitely NOT captivating! They are as boring as boring can be! If I took this course in person in a college, I would have dropped the course the very 1st day. Even the graphics are mainly still photos. I have learned so much more about Irish history by reading good Irish novels and watching travelogs, and what I learned in them was so engaging that I remember it to this day. In fact, I would guess that the most boring Irish textbook would have more charisma than this professor, and at least by reading a textbook you'll be able to consume the information more quickly, without having to watch a professor pointing his finger at you as he touts his own accomplishments.
