Insiders - Nature and Environment

on April 22, 2025, 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Event description

This month discover our Outdoor Explorer Backpacks and California State Library Parks Passes, perfect for outdoor adventures. The backpacks include tools for activities like hiking and birdwatching, while the Parks Passes offer free vehicle day-use entry to over 200 state parks. We will take a virtual tour of nearby state parks, listen to the sounds of local songbirds, and play fun nature games.

Engage in enriching activities designed for adults with diverse abilities at our inclusive library program. This monthly event provides a welcoming environment where participants can explore library resources, develop new skills, and connect with others in the community.

Our specially curated sessions aim to enhance independence and foster a love for learning among adults with varying intellectual and developmental needs. Attendees will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with library services, participate in adaptive activities, and build confidence in a supportive setting.
