Computer Docent Help at Martinez Library
Our volunteer computer docents are available Thursdays between 10 a.m and 12 p.m. to assist with basic computer skills as well as printing and copying. If you need a little extra help getting your tech questions answered, sign up for a 15-minute appointment and our docents can assist you! Drop in help is available as time allows.
Our computer docents can help you with:
- Contra Costa County Library website
- Sending attachments
- Microsoft Word
- Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc.)
- Making copies and printing
- General computer use
Our computer docents will not:
- Repair devices or make any recommendations about hardware or software
- Type documents or fill out paperwork
- Recommend products for purchase
- Conduct research
- Accept payment of any kind
Call the Martinez Library at 925-646-9900 or visit during open hours to sign up for an appointment. Appointments are 15 minutes and limited to one per person. Drop-in help is available as time allows. Computer docent help is also offered Tuesdays from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
