Sing a Story - La Cenerentola (Cinderella)
Sing a Story - La Cenerentola (Cinderella)
Come to the El Sobrante Library June 26th at 11am for a San Francisco Opera Guild`s Sing a Story program! Sing a Story is an interactive introduction to classic opera. A teaching artist will tell the story of the opera La Cenerentola by Gioachino Rossini, and teach a singing lesson before revealing a magic bag full of costumes and props. The entire audience will then participate in performing the opera from the beginning. Volunteers will rotate playing parts and everyone can sing in the chorus. Afterwards stay and have lunch at the library.
El Sobrante Library has free, healthy meals for students on Thursdays and Fridays this summer from 11am - 1pm (while supplies last). Meals are provided by the WCCUSD Food Services. Lunch at the Library is a project of the California State Library, supported with funds from the State of California.
