Intro to 3D Design with Tinkercad

Before class, please create a free account on Tinkercad.com using the "create a personal account" option. If using a minor's birthday, please complete parental approval before class to unlock the account. Or, use an adult's birthday for a seamless account setup.

Ever wanted to try 3D design? Join us for a hands-on workshop with Arav Uttarwar and explore the basics of Tinkercad! You'll learn how to create your own custom 3D model and design a unique keychain that can be 3D printed, perfect for adding flair to your favorite backpack.

No prior tech experience needed, just bring your curiosity. Registration required.

In this workshop, you will:

• Learn to create a simple 3D model (using Tinkercad).
• See the new library’s 3D printer in action.
• Learn how to submit a design for staff to print!

You are highly encouraged to create your own Tinkercad account on https://www.tinkercad.com/ If you need help you can arrive 15 minutes before the session on  Saturday, March 21 to help you create an account.

Geared toward ages 10+. Kids under 10 must have an adult with them & must have strong keyboard/mouse skills.
