M is for Martinez: Author Talk for Kids
Join the author/illustrator team behind the Hometown Alphabet series for a fun and engaging author talk and book reading as they read from their book M is for Martinez, show how to sign the alphabet in American Sign Language, and talk about their process and books.
Author/illustrator duo Sammy and Kori Barton love to encourage kids and families to learn about the history of their city and be thankful for their hometown! Through A to Z style books filled with fascinating history, colorful paintings, and whimsical poetry, they highlight the people and places that make cities in the Bay Area unique. Come learn about M is for Martinez and the other books in their series.
The first 20 families will receive a free copy of the book, M is for Martinez. You can always reserve a copy of the book through the library also!
